Meeting on 16 January 2014 'Good Neigbours'

It's time to have our regular meeting again !

 

The theme for this meeting is GOOD NEIGHBOURS, chosen by the Toastmaster of the Evening, Ahmad Yusof. Chinese New Year is at the door, let's evaluate ourselves, how good are we as Neighbours, by knowing our neighbours culture, by looking out over their homes when they are on leave for festive seasons and especially at toastmasters how good neighbour are we by helping our toastmasters neighbours in doing their projects.

 

So let us take the challenge to be Good Neighbours.

 

Be a 'Good Neighbour' and come and visit us at our meeting tomorrow,

on Thursday, 16 January 2014, at our usual meeting place Semabok Inn, Jalan Semabok, Melaka at 07.30 pm (meeting starts at 08.00 pm sharp).

Last Meeting in 2013, 19th December 2013

Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

 

 

Year 2013 is coming to an end, our last meeting of this year will be on Thursday, 19th December 2013 with Yap Sui Ngor as our Toastmaster of the Evening.

 

The theme is Winter Solstice Festival  in Chinese call Dōngzhì literally "the Arrival of Winter" is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Chinese and other East Asians during the Dongzhi solar term (winter solstice) on or around December 22 when sunshine is weakest and daylight shortest.

 

We will have two speakers, Ivonne Lapp who will be delivering her 5th project with title "Attract Attention with Your Body Language" and Ahmad Yusof with his educational session "Motivating People".
